1. Overview
Still Returnable (“we,” “us,” or “the App”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled when you use the App and how it is stored.
Still Returnable is a local-first return-deadline assistant. The core features—purchase records, return cases, platform rules, reminders, and preferences—are processed and stored on your device. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not operate a user-facing cloud service to sync your return data.
2. Information You Provide (Stored Locally)
When you use the App, you may enter information such as:
- Product titles and notes
- Purchase dates
- Platform or store names and return rule settings
- Return case status, condition check results, and step notes
- Reminder preferences (e.g., days before deadline)
- Language and appearance preferences
This information is saved locally on your device (via on-device storage such as SharedPreferences). We do not upload your purchase or return records to our servers as part of the App’s core functionality.
3. Information We Do Not Collect for Core Features
For the return-management features described above, we do not:
- Require registration or login
- Collect your name, email, phone number, or payment details through the App
- Access your photo library, contacts, or location for return tracking
- Sell your personal information
- Use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs within the primary App experience to profile you
4. Device Permissions
Notifications (optional)
If you choose to enable notifications, the App may request permission to schedule local notifications on your device to remind you about upcoming return deadlines. Notification content is generated on your device from data you entered. You can revoke this permission in iOS Settings at any time. Declining notifications does not block deadline calculation, condition checks, or step tracking.
Network access
The App may use network connectivity for general app operation (for example, checking connectivity or retrieving non-personal app configuration needed for service availability). Your locally stored purchase and return data is not transmitted as part of these features. We do not use network access to build a personal profile from your return records.
5. Data Retention
Your return-related data remains on your device until you:
- Delete individual items or cases within the App, or
- Use in-app Clear local data / data management options, or
- Uninstall the App
Uninstalling the App typically removes locally stored App data from your device, subject to iOS system behavior.
6. Data Security
Because data is stored locally, its security also depends on your device settings (passcode, Face ID, device encryption, and physical access). We recommend keeping your device updated and secured. No method of storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security of information on your device.
7. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the return-management features.
8. Your Choices
You can:
- Use the App without enabling notifications
- Edit or delete purchases, cases, and rules at any time
- Clear all local App data through Settings → Data Management
- Uninstall the App to remove local data
9. International Users
Data you enter stays on your device. If you travel or change devices, the App does not automatically sync your data unless you manually migrate it (the App does not currently provide cloud sync).
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect changes. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
